HMT-150 - Multi-Modal Transportation of Hazardous Materials - Initial Training - 5 Days

This 5-day introductory-level dangerous goods training course covers the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials by ground, air and water.  HMT-150 capitalizes on the harmonization between the three different codes to combine three separate courses (HMT-100, HMT-200 and HMT-300) into one 5-day session reducing training costs, travel expenses and time out of the office.  Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-155 - Multi-Modal Transportation of Hazardous Materials - Recurrent Training - 2 Days

This 2-day dangerous goods training course reviews the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials by ground, air and water.  As an alternative to taking HMT-115, HMT-215 and HMT-315, HMT-155 reduces training costs, travel expenses and time away from the office. Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for recurrent hazmat training. 


HMT-100 - Ground Transportation of Hazardous Materials - Initial Training - 3 Days

This introductory-level dangerous goods training course covers basic regulatory compliance skills needed to prepare, offer and accept domestic shipments of hazardous materials according to the DOT's Hazardous Materials Regulations.  This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-100B - Ground Transportation of Hazardous Materials - Bulk - Initial Training - 4 Days

This 4-day introductory-level dangerous goods training course covers the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials.  Instruction will focus on bulk packages such as Tanks Cars, Cargo Tanks, Portable Tanks and IBC's. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-110 - Ground Transportation of Hazardous Materials - Advanced Training - 3 Days

 This 3-day advanced-level dangerous goods training course covers skills needed to prepare, offer and accept domestic shipments of hazardous materials.  The material covered in this course reviews and builds upon the information covered in DGAC's HMT-100 Initial Training Course. Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages transported by Motor Vehicle. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-115 - Ground Transportation of Hazardous Materials - Recurrent Training - 1 Day

This one-day dangerous goods training course provides a review of the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept domestic shipments of hazardous materials. Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages transported by Motor Vehicle. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-130 - Transportation by Motor Vehicle or Aircraft - Initial Training - 4 Days

This 4-day introductory-level dangerous goods training course covers the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials by ground and air.  HMT-130 capitalizes on the harmonization between the HMR and DGR to combine two separate courses (HMT-100 and HMT-200) into one 4-day session reducing training costs, travel expenses and time out of the office. Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-135 - Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air and Ground - Recurrent Training - 2 Day

This 2-day dangerous goods training course reviews the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials by ground and air. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-200 - Air Transportation of Dangerous Goods - Initial Training - 3 Days

This 3-day introductory-level dangerous goods training course covers the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials by aircraft and the related motor vehicle transportation. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-215 - Air Transportation of Dangerous Goods - Recurrent Training - 1 Day

This one-day dangerous goods training course reviews the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of dangerous goods for transportation by aircraft and related motor vehicle transportation. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-300 - Water Transportation of Dangerous Goods - Initial Training - 3 Days

This 3-day dangerous goods training course covers basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of dangerous goods for transportation by vessel and related ground transportation. Instruction will focus on the IMDG Code requirements for non-bulk packages in freight containers. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-315 - Water Transportation of Dangerous Goods - Recurrent Training - 1 Day

This one-day dangerous goods training course covers basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of dangerous goods for transportation by vessel and related ground transportation. Instruction will focus on the IMDG Code requirements for non-bulk packages in freight containers. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-400 - Transportation of Hazardous Wastes - Initial Training - 3 Days

This 3-day introductory-level dangerous goods training course covers the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept domestic shipments of hazardous wastes. Introduction will focus on non-bulk packages transported by motor vehicle. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-600 - Preparing Dangerous Goods for Transportation on European Roads - Initial - 2 Days

The dangerous goods training course describes the structure of ADR and highlights differences between it and the other regulations.  The method of instruction will assume the participant has a thorough knowledge of the UN regulatory structure and its provisions for classification, packaging and hazard communication and will teach the ADR provisions by showing the differences. Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages although some tank issues will also be discussed. This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-605 - Classifying Hazardous Materials for Transportation - 4 Days

This 4-day dangerous goods training course focuses on obtaining and applying information necessary to classify hazardous materials for transportation. It will include a detailed discussion of each hazard class and division (other than Classes 1, 6.2 and 7). This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.


HMT-608 - Performance-Oriented Packaging (UN Standard Packaging)

This 3-day dangerous goods training course provides instruction in UN performance-oriented packaging. This training will be useful for professionals in the packaging industry and also for shippers and carriers. Whether you design packaging, test packaging, buy packaging, sell packaging, fill packaging, or close packaging, this course will help take the mystery out of UN packaging. The instruction will focus on non-bulk UN Standard Packaging for liquids and solids (other than Classes 1, 6.2, and 7). This hazmat training course meets the applicable requirements for both initial and recurrent hazmat training.
