HMT-150 - Multi-Modal Transportation of Hazardous Materials - Initial Training - 5 DaysPreparing Hazardous Materials (Dangerous Goods) for Transportation by Multiple Modes - Initial Training This 5 day introductory-level course covers the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials by ground, air and water. HMT-150 capitalizes on the harmonization between the three different codes to combine three separate courses (HMT-100, HMT-200 and HMT-300) into one 5-day session reducing training costs, travel expenses and time out of the office. Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages. Meets applicable requirements for initial and recurrent training. Regulations Covered | HMR, DGR and IMDG Code | Note: | - "HMR" means U.S. DOT's (49 CFR) Hazardous Materials Regulations
- "DGR" means IATA's Dangerous Goods Regulations
- "IMDG Code" means IMO's International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code
