HMT-155 Preparing Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods for Transportation by Multiple Modes – Recurrent TrainingPreparing Hazardous Materials (Dangerous Goods Training) for Transportation by Multiple Modes - Recurrent Training This 2-day course reviews the basic skills needed to prepare, offer and accept shipments of hazardous materials by ground, air and water. As an alternative to taking HMT-115, HMT-215 and HMT-315, HMT-155 reduces training costs, travel expenses and time away from the office. Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages. This course is Optimized for Eastern and Central Time Zones. Regulations Covered | HMR, DGR and IMDG Code | Note: | - "HMR" means U.S. DOT's (49 CFR) Hazardous Materials Regulations
- "DGR" means IATA's Dangerous Goods Regulations
- "IMDG Code" means IMO's International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code
| Prerequisite: | There are no prerequisites for this course, however recurrent training is not intended to be initial training and we strongly encourage students to complete an appropriate initial training course at least once prior to enrolling in this recurrent training course. The training methodology used in this course assumes the student has prior knowledge and is not designed to be your initial exposure to the information. Appropriate prior training would include the HMW-150, HMT-150 or equivalents. | Materials Provided by DGAC: | - A Copy of the HMR
