About DGSATo comply with the Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) and/or national regulations, many shippers, carriers and other businesses involved in transporting dangerous goods by road in Europe and in a number of non-European countries that are ADR Contracting Parties must appoint a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA). Although this requirement does not apply within the United States, many dangerous goods professionals in the US find that having a DGSA qualification is invaluable in developing relationships with their colleagues in Europe and elsewhere.
