Vaughn Arthur

 

Vaughn joined the DGAC staff in 1989 to provide administrative support for the training programs. DGAC staff was restructured in the early 1990s and Vaughn was named to the position of Director of Education and Training. He became DGAC’s principal classroom instructor in 1994 and took the helm as President in December of 2011. 
Vaughn is a certified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), has published articles in trade publications, and has contributed to course textbooks on hazardous materials transportation. In addition to training courses and conference presentations, he has been an invited lecturer at the International Maritime Academy in Trieste, Italy and at PIRA, International in the UK.  He and his family reside near Washington, DC.
